A&M entomologists create new tools to fight disease-carrying mosquitos

Among the most common of mosquitos, Aedes aegypti spread the viruses that cause yellow fever, Zika fever, dengue fever, and chikungunya. With federal funding from NIH, DARPA and the CDC, and support from Texas A&M AgriLife Research, three entomologists at the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences are developing tools to shrink the global population of these mosquitos.
