Accelerating Innovation and Transition with DARPA: Registration opens for half-day November workshop at Texas A&M
In partnership with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Commercial Strategy Office, Texas A&M University will host the Accelerating Innovation and Transition with DARPA, a half-day regional workshop at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022.
The workshop takes place the day before DARPA Forward: Advancing the Horizons of National Security, a regional conference set for Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 15-16, 2022, at the Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center.
DARPA’s Embedded Entrepreneurship Initiative and the Small Business Programs Office seek to connect with new communities of talent and regional innovation ecosystems to explore opportunities for strategic transition of DARPA-funded research and technology.
Participants will hear from accomplished innovators, creative entrepreneurs and senior commercial advisors as they provide the latest information on—and opportunities for—commercialization of break-through, DARPA-funded research that supports U.S. national and economic security.
Registration ends Monday, Oct. 31, 2022.
Following the workshop, the Texas A&M University System will host a fajita buffet lunch at the RELLIS Campus, 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. The event will offer tours of:
- Bush Combat Development Complex featuring the Research Integration Center (RIC) and the Innovation Proving Ground (IPG), https://bcdc.tamus.edu/
- SecureAmerica Institute, https://secureamerica.us/
- Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR), https://cir.tamu.edu/
