The Center for Chemical Characterization and Analysis (CCCA) provides state-of-the-art capabilities for organic and inorganic analysis and structural characterization. Four specialized laboratories address specific areas of interest:
• The Elemental Analysis Laboratory provides research support in the areas of elemental and trace analysis as well as service analyses.
• The X-ray Diffraction Laboratory offers state-of-the-art instrumentation for the analysis of solid materials.
• The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility has nine super-conducting magnet systems and four LINUX workstations dedicated to data processing.
• The Laboratory for Biological Mass Spectrometry includes expertise in mass spectrometry methodology, instrumentation, and informatics.
