Mission:

To promote excellence in the study and practice of intellectual property law by engaging theory, policy, and practice.

The Center for Law and Intellectual Property (CLIP), currently ranked seventh in the nation, serves as a global hub for intellectual property research and education. The Center sponsors groundbreaking conferences and symposia; hosts eminent scholars and distinguished practitioners; publishes books and occasional papers; and develops international research and outreach programs. The School of Law also features two clinics certified by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and an Entrepreneurship Law Clinic.
