Center for Natural Resource Information Technology
Mission:

Provide holistic and interdisciplinary approaches for implementing information and decision support systems to aid in sustainable use, monitoring, and assessment of natural resources.

The Center for Natural Resource Information Technology (CNRIT) supports research and development of information and decision support systems that aid stakeholders in risk management, technology impact assessment, and policy development on grazinglands throughout the world. Since its inception in 1991, the Center has used holistic and interdisciplinary approaches for developing and implementing systems that support monitoring, assessment, and evaluation of alternatives for the sustainable use of natural resources, now and in the future.
