Center for Statistical Bioinformatics

To develop and promote the use of modern statistical methodology in genomics, with special focus on microarray studies, proteomics, statistical genetics, and molecular biology.

The Center for Statistical Bioinformatics fosters multi-disciplinary research and education in the area of statistical models and methods for the analysis of high throughput molecular data involved in life science research. The Center is supported by grants from the National Cancer Institute, the National Science Foundation, the National Human Genome Research Institute, and the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences. The Center also conducts a Bioinformatics Training Program.
