Center for the Study of Digital Libraries
Mission:

To foster pioneering research on theory and application of digital libraries and to create flexible and efficient new technologies for their use.

The Center for the Study of Digital Libraries (CSDL) collaborates with researchers on campus, at other universities, and the international research community on core research on digital collections and their applications.
•Employs digital collections to transform how people collect, manage, and work with information.
•Advances the underlying technologies, including user interfaces and data-centered algorithms that mediate understanding and use of digital information.
•Studies the socio-technical systems that make use of collections and the co-design of technology and policy.
