Mission:

To pursue research, train students, promote scientific dialogue, and stimulate public interest in the Ice Age peopling of the Americas.

Through its international and interdisciplinary research initiatives the Center for the Study of the First Americans is at the forefront in developing new knowledge about the first people to enter and settle the Americas at the end of the last Ice Age. The Center disseminates the results of academic research about the first Americans to the professional community and the general public through its publications, workshops, and conventions.
