Mission:

The mission of the Center for Translational Cancer Research is to promote the translation of discoveries in cancer cell biology into interventions of value in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.

The Institute of Biosciences and Technology is organized into Centers of research excellence in cancer, genomics and disease, developmental biology and birth defects, and infectious disease. The center for Translational Cancer Research (CTCR) includes a community of scientists committed to translational research that addresses the role of cell signaling pathways in the pathophysiology of cancer and auto-immune and cardiovascular diseases. The CTCR has specialized resources to support high throughput-based drug discovery research and advanced imaging technologies.
