Laboratory for Synthetic-Biologic Interactions

Laboratory for Synthetic-Biologic Interactions

The Laboratory for Synthetic-Biologic Interactions (LSBI) is a research facility dedicated to supporting major research initiatives and education by providing instrumentation and expertise in the application of advanced materials (polymeric, organic, nanotechnological, etc.) within biological systems. The facility houses a number of advanced instruments for thermal analysis, surface-interface testing, mechanical analysis, dynamic light scattering, spectroscopy, and advanced microscopy, including dry and solution-state atomic-force and fluorescence-lifetime and anisotropy confocal microscopy.
