Mission:

To foster and celebrate the humanities and humanities research among the community of scholars at Texas A&M and in the world; bring scholars together for lecture series and symposia; and support humanities students and faculty with funding opportunities.

The Melbern G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research is dedicated to fostering and celebrating the humanities and humanities research among the community of scholars at Texas A&M and in the world. The Glasscock Center awards release fellowships, research fellowships, course development grants, funding for working groups, publication support, and research matching awards for independent and cross-disciplinary research in the humanities. Fellows and grant recipients are integral to the Center’s on-going programs and activities through their participation in coffees, colloquia, working groups, and seminar series.
