Process Engineering Research & Development Center

The Process Engineering Research & Development Center develops processes for converting agricultural crops and biological materials into functional food, feed, and industrial ingredients and for using these materials in industrial and consumer products. The Center also conducts research to recover valuable components from by-products and in treated water and waste. The Center is uniquely positioned as the only public oilseed processing facility in the U.S. and worldwide with the capabilities to address such needs in a rapid, affordable, and unbiased manner.
