The research landscape is evolving rapidly – and so are the threats to its integrity. The unholy trio of plagiarism, fabrication and falsification is joined by a host of unethical publication practices (e.g., papermills). This session explores old and new threats to research integrity, highlights common warning signs, and introduces practical tools made available by the DOR that can help identify potential concerns before they become significant problems.

This session provides an overview of the National Science Foundation, including its organization, proposal types, review process, review criteria, and recent updates. Open to all faculty levels, this session can help researchers determine whether NSF is the right fit and which program to consider.

Discussing supporting documents required for National Science Foundation proposals, including recent changes to the Data Management Plan, Biosketch, Current & Pending (Other) Support, and Mentoring Plan. It will also provide information on available resources to assist faculty with developing these documents. Open to all faculty levels.
