Disclosure Profile
The Disclosure Profile (DP) is the focal point of the Huron system for the discloser. It provides a summary of a discloser’s interests and outside activities.
ALL employees must complete and certify a Disclosure Profile in Huron.
This form replaces 15.01.03 – Financial Conflicts of Interest in Sponsored Research disclosures that were previously submitted in Maestro and consists of two main areas:
- Entity Disclosure Information
- TAMU Additional Information
Types of Disclosure Profiles
There are two types of DPs, which are assigned based on pre-determined factors.
Researcher
The Researcher DP asks for additional information based on federal requirements. This subset of Financial Conflicts of Interest questions must be answered for both the Researcher and any covered family member.
Non-Researcher
Non-Researchers will disclose only for themselves.
Disclosure Profile Submission
Disclosure Profiles are required to be submitted:
- Within 30 days of initial employment.
- At least annually.
- Prior to submission of some research funding opportunities.
- Within 30 days of the acquisition of a new activity requiring disclosure.
The DP should disclose information related to the previous twelve-month time period.
International Disclosures
All international activities should be disclosed as they are subject to export control review. See System Regulation 15.02 – Export Controls and TAMU Rule 15.02.99.M1 – Export Control Program Management.
