Registration opens for DARPA conference at Texas A&M
Registration is now open for DARPA Forward: Advancing the Horizons of National Security, a regional conference set for Tuesday and Wednesday, November 15-16, 2022, at the Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center.
“DARPA Forward offers an outstanding opportunity for Texas A&M faculty, researchers and students to build strong relationships with high-level representatives from the nation’s defense sector,” says Vice President for Research Jack G. Baldauf. “We encourage all interested members of the Texas A&M research community to participate in this major event.”
The conference is one of six regional events presented by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) at major research universities across the United States during 2022.
DARPA Director Stephanie Tompkins is scheduled to provide opening remarks.
The conference will include presentations, demonstrations, briefings and panel discussions as well as networking events. Representatives from DARPA, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of Defense, private companies and major U.S. research universities, including Texas A&M University will be featured.
General attendance is $350 for the two-day conference, $275 for faculty, researchers, students and other academic representatives as well as for Defense Department employees. Participants may also attend virtually for $25 per conference event.
The conference has set aside a room block at the Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center. Reservations are due by Thursday, Sept. 29.
Parking discounts are also available.
