State Employees Charitable Campaign
For over 30+ years, state, higher education, and retired employees have contributed through the Texas State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) to provide support community programs to help keep Texans healthy, safe and strong. The SECC was created through legislation in 1993, with the first campaign held in 1994.

The annual State Employees Charitable Campaign offers a no-hassle, no pressure opportunity for you to assist others in our local community, state or even nationally. Unit coordinators will be reaching out to assure you have information and resources, should you wish to participate in this year’s campaign. Please visit the university SECC page for more information about the campaign and eligible organizations.
The SECC is the only workplace campaign in which state employees can make a voluntary, tax-deductible contribution to charities through the payroll deduction (maybe one-time, or per pay-period, $2 min per month), cash, check or credit card. The campaign runs annually from September 1 through October 31.
