Experimental Design Initiative
The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) is launching an initiative to enhance the quality and clarity of the experimental design section within animal use protocols (AUPs). This section plays a critical role in shaping the interpretation and integrity of the entire protocol.
The Animal Welfare Office is dedicated to supporting principal investigators in the development of both new and renewal AUPs, with a focus on strengthening the experimental design component. The resources provided are intended to assist researchers in crafting well-structured and scientifically sound experimental design sections.
