As a member of the President’s Cabinet, Vice President for Research and Chief Research Officer Angela K. Wilson, PhD, leads Texas A&M University’s globally recognized research enterprise, overseeing an annual research portfolio exceeding $1.43 billion. 

The Senior Administrative Leadership Team (SALT) serves as the VPR’s primary advisory and executive group. By directing strategic growth, research administration, regulatory compliance, and critical infrastructure, SALT provides the foundational oversight required to advance all university research.
