Research Development Services


Research Development Services (RDS) advances research capacity and competitiveness at Texas A&M University by supporting faculty in securing external funding and developing strategic research initiatives.

Core Functions

  • Provides proposal development support including writing, formatting, editing and strategic reviews.
  • Facilitates early career faculty development through workshops, consultations and mentoring.
  • Supports large, multidisciplinary and strategic funding opportunities.
  • Manages the limited submission process for Texas A&M University, Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) and Texas A&M Health Science Center (HSC).

Services

Hosts programs like “Getting to Know NSF,” CAREER Proposal Development workshops and NIH training.

Offers tailored support for high-priority funding opportunities.

Provides resources for integrating research grants with educational activities.
